Jillian and Adam were married at the start of August on a bright, warm summer day. Jillian spent the morning with her bridesmaids and family in our Summer Parlor. Laughter filled the room as her bridesmaids helped her get ready for the big day. She looked stunning in a pure white gown with delicate, sheer sleeves. Cameras clicked away as Jillian posed for detail shots, soaking in the excitement.
Soon, it was time for the first look. Adam turned around and couldn’t stop gushing over Jillian’s beautiful look. They embraced and shared sweet smiles before taking a few portraits together. For some extra fun, their dog joined them, decorated with flowers and ready for his close-up. After those adorable family moments, Jillian and Adam headed inside to take pictures with their wedding party.
The ceremony took place in our European Gallery, which glowed with flickering candles, white roses, and sparkling chandeliers. Guests watched in admiration as Jillian walked down the aisle. She and Adam exchanged heartfelt vows, with smiles sneaking onto their faces as they said “I do.” The two exited hand-in-hand, grinning from ear to ear, with Adam twirling Jillian in celebration.
Cocktail hour followed shortly after, complete with vibrant fruit cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres. Guests mingled while Jillian and Adam slipped away for more portraits around the property before rejoining the festivities. When the reception doors opened, everyone was greeted by a breathtaking scene. Jillian and Adam had chosen a timeless, elegant palette of black, white, and candlelight. Vines draped across tables, white roses added a romantic touch, and floating candles created the perfect glow. A live band set the tone for the evening as guests filled the space with laughter and joy. The newlyweds shared their first dance, swaying hand-in-hand as Jillian leaned into Adam while Virginia Moon By The Foo Fighters played.
Toasts followed, with glasses of champagne lifted high as cheers erupted throughout the room. Later in the evening, the couple surprised guests with a nostalgic late-night snack, a popcorn machine! As the night came to a close, Jillian and Adam shared one last private dance before making their grand exit. Guests lined up with sparklers in hand, lighting the way as the couple ran to their getaway car. It was the perfect ending to a truly perfect day.
